THE LORE OF DRAKARIS
Drakaris changes, breathes and creates life. Each region transforms the Prismatic Eggs — and every dragon carries the history of its birthplace in its body.
I · THE ORIGIN
Before the mountains, the seas and even time as it is now known, there was only the Original Egg. It contained no formed creatures, but every possibility of life: fire, water, earth, air, flora, crystal, coral, fungus, shadow and light.
When the Original Egg cracked, it did not explode. It opened slowly, and each fragment became matter, landscape and energy. Where its core touched the world, the Heart-Volcano rose — a colossal mountain whose pulse travels throughout Drakaris.
With every new cycle, the Heart-Volcano releases Prismatic Eggs. They do not contain a predetermined dragon. They contain a possibility that only takes shape when it falls into a region and absorbs its environment. That is why no dragon exists separately from the world.
II · THE LOST CIVILISATION
Long after the first dragons, the Aurik civilisation emerged. It did not create Drakaris or the Prismatic Eggs: it learned to observe the resonance between egg, region and creature. The Aurik built cities on cliffs, laboratories in caverns and forges beside rivers of lava.
They built the Attunement Cradles, structures capable of protecting an egg during energy storms. What began as shelter gradually became an instrument of control. The Aurik started choosing which force each egg should absorb and what kind of dragon should be born.
By trying to eliminate chance, they also eliminated balance.
III · THE DISHARMONY
Forced Attunement separated energies that only worked together. Areas appeared where stone no longer retained heat, fungi lost their connection to roots, and wind crossed the world without carrying seeds or sound. This imbalance became known as the Disharmony.
The Aurik's final experiment produced the Colourless Egg. Instead of absorbing a region to create life, it absorbed colour, sound and energy without giving anything back. It represented uniformity, rigidity and absolute control — the exact opposite of the diversity of the Flexi Dragons.
When the Cradles began activating in sequence, dragons from rival classes formed the first Prismatic Alliance. They sealed the structures and scattered the eggs that remained free. Aurik cities were swallowed by dunes, broken by lava, covered by reefs or transformed into forest.
IV · THE LOGIC OF POWERS
The first class indicates the dominant origin; the second shows how that energy manifests in the body. Anatomy completes the combination: wings, crystals, coral, fungi and segments determine how each power is used.
transformation, heat and drive.
adaptation, memory and flow.
regeneration, communication and balance.
storage, amplification and revelation.
movement, connection and dispersal.
concealment, guidance and contrast.
No power is complete on its own. A dragon grows stronger when it combines its energy with other classes and with the region around it.
V · THE PRESENT
Now the Aurik ruins are shining again. The Heart-Volcano beats faster and Prismatic Eggs cross the sky towards places that do not appear on any map. The question is no longer only what is awakening, but why.
Fire dragons demand a swift response; earth guardians want to preserve what remains sealed; water dragons seek to adapt; fungus dragons try to regenerate wounded regions; and crystal dragons listen to memories that may be either warning or trap.
This conflict does not divide Drakaris into good and evil. It opposes different ways of protecting a living world. New stories are born from that disagreement — and every new dragon will find its place within it.
STORIES IN DEVELOPMENT
The Aurik ruins shine again, the Heart-Volcano beats faster and new Prismatic Eggs fall beyond the known regions. No one knows whether the world is defending itself or preparing the return of the Disharmony.
When the Aurik tried to impose a single energy on the eggs, dragons from rival classes united to close the Cradles and preserve the diversity of Drakaris.
Some eggs never hatched. Others were hidden before the fall of the Aurik and may contain forms of life that no longer exist in any region.
Created through forced Attunement, it absorbs colour, sound and energy. It is the ultimate expression of rigidity and control — the opposite of the living world of the Flexi Dragons.
